Este nuevo proyecto surge a ra\u00edz de la crisis energ\u00e9tica mundial y al reconsiderar a los parques e\u00f3licos terrestres como una opci\u00f3n de crecimiento potencial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/f.elconfidencial.com_original_f30_702_6a0_f307026a0d95ced2a0fafbea9a6275c8-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9805\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Las turbinas e\u00f3licas m\u00e1s grandes de hoy y las a\u00fan m\u00e1s grandes del futuro no pueden transportarse a los principales parques e\u00f3licos terrestres a trav\u00e9s de infraestructura terrestre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El avi\u00f3n WindRunner cumple con objetivos de descarbonizaci\u00f3n; en sus viajes utilizar\u00e1 combustible de aviaci\u00f3n sostenible y solo necesitar\u00eda de una pista de aterrizaje en tierra o grava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Radia-WindRunner-3-1024x625.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9806\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Radia se\u00f1al\u00f3 que este avi\u00f3n operar\u00e1 desde centros regionales y revel\u00f3 que &#8220;puede aterrizar en pistas tan cortas como de 1800 metros, algo que ning\u00fan otro avi\u00f3n comercial grande puede lograr&#8221;. Por esto apuntan a que WindRunner cambiar\u00e1 el panorama de la energ\u00eda verde para siempre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La empresa afirma que se est\u00e1 centrando &#8220;en la tecnolog\u00eda y la seguridad existentes utilizando, en su caso, materiales, componentes y t\u00e9cnicas de fabricaci\u00f3n de aviaci\u00f3n de eficacia probada que cuenten con la aprobaci\u00f3n de la FAA (Administraci\u00f3n Federal de Aviaci\u00f3n de Estados Unidos), que ya se est\u00e9n produciendo en masa y que entra\u00f1en el menor riesgo&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La aeronave tiene la capacidad de carga de 7700 metros c\u00fabicos, lo que equivale a tres piletas ol\u00edmpicas. Adem\u00e1s es 12 veces el volumen de un Boeing 747-400, y tambi\u00e9n es 38 metros m\u00e1s largo. En cuanto a la envergadura, es de 80 metros y alcanza una velocidad de crucero Mach 0,6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"9811\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/e8c7bf7674be0c1412069c41b5d6d9d9-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9811\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La idea es poner en funcionamiento una flota r\u00e1pida, bien construida y adem\u00e1s que cumpla con los requerimientos y las normas de la industria aeroespacial, aunque los informes en l\u00ednea apuntan a operaciones comerciales a partir de 2027. Sin embargo, en la p\u00e1gina web de Radia no se confirma ning\u00fan plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El desarrollo de WindRunner permitir\u00e1 fabricar GigaWind, las turbinas XXL de los socios de Radia, entre los que se cuentan cinco de los seis principales fabricantes de turbinas del mundo. Actualmente, las palas de las turbinas suelen medir 70 metros o menos; no obstante, Radia quiere desplegar palas de hasta 104 metros.
