Una de las m\u00e1s recientes torres de control en incorporar esta tecnolog\u00eda fue la del Aeropuerto Internacional Austin-Bergstrom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El principal objetivo del ARV es proporcionar a los controladores alertas visuales y audibles&nbsp;si un avi\u00f3n que se aproxima est\u00e1 alineado para aterrizar en una pista equivocada o, incluso, en una que no corresponde, lo cual es una posibilidad en \u00e1reas terminales con muchos aer\u00f3dromos. Siguiendo los procedimientos, cuando los aviones se acercan al aeropuerto, el controlador emite una autorizaci\u00f3n de aterrizaje en una pista espec\u00edfica, si el piloto cree que est\u00e1 alineado con la pista adecuada, pero en realidad est\u00e1 orientando la aeronave a una pista adyacente o incluso con una calle de rodaje, el ARV alertar\u00e1 al controlador que podr\u00e1 advertir inmediatamente al comandante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema ARV es una de las tres soluciones de conocimiento de la situaci\u00f3n que conforman la cartera de seguridad en superficie que est\u00e1 implementando la FAA. Las otras herramientas son el Dispositivo de Incursi\u00f3n en Pista (RID) y la Iniciativa de Conciencia de Superficie (SAI). Estas tecnolog\u00edas son \u00e1giles, eficientes y rentables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad el ARV est\u00e1 instalado en torres que dan servicio a:&nbsp;Austin (AUS), Torre Lincoln (LNK), Elton Hensley (FTT, Lansing (LAN), DuPage (DPA), Ejecutivo de Chicago (PWK), Tallahassee (TLH), Cedar Rapids (CID), Branson West Municipal (FWB), Gerald Ford International (GRR), Municipio de Elkhart (EKM), South Bend (SBN), y M.
