Con m\u00e1s de cuatro mil ejemplares fabricados, el F-16 es la aeronave preferida de muchas naciones y, en la actualidad, opera en 25 fuerzas a\u00e9reas del mundo. Esto se debe a su impecable <em>performance, <\/em>fiabilidad y rendimiento, y a que cuenta con motores sencillos de mantener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, lo cierto es que, con el correr de los a\u00f1os, el radar que porta esta aeronave y sus sistemas el\u00e9ctricos debieron ser actualizados para no quedar obsoletos. Por ello, el F-16 Block 70\/72 es una nueva variante que trae consigo m\u00faltiples cambios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/f-16-blok70-1024x640-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9286\" style=\"width:619px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/f-16-blok70-1024x640-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/f-16-blok70-1024x640-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/f-16-blok70-1024x640-1-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras las \u00faltimas aeronaves producidas por Lockheed Martin en la planta de Fort Worth, donde se fabricaban los F-16C Block 52 para Irak, la empresa aeron\u00e1utica comenz\u00f3 a pensar en la finalizaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n de este emblem\u00e1tico caza, debido a la falta de pedidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2019, comenz\u00f3 el proyecto para crear el F-16 m\u00e1s moderno construido hasta el momento. Se busc\u00f3, desde un comienzo, que esta nueva variante cuente con 12 000 horas de vida \u00fatil, el doble que su versi\u00f3n original. Por otra parte, tambi\u00e9n se le instalaron un nuevo radar AN\/APG-83 SABR AESA \u2013que comparte 70 % de parentesco con el radar del F-35 Ligthing II\u2013 , nuevas pantallas, un moderno ordenador de misi\u00f3n Raytheon, un sistema de guerra electr\u00f3nica mejorado y un sistema de anticolisi\u00f3n en tierra. A pedido de los principales compradores del Block 70\/72, se incluy\u00f3 un asiento eyectable US18E de Martin Baker, en reemplazo de los Collins Aeroespace ACES II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A fines de 2022, pese a los retrasos que gener\u00f3 la pandemia de COVID-19 en la l\u00ednea de producci\u00f3n, el F-16 Block 70\/72 fue desarrollado completamente. La Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Bahr\u00e9in es el primer comprador, solicit\u00f3 un lote de 16 aeronaves por un monto total de USD 1120 millones. Tras esta primera venta, pa\u00edses como Eslovaquia, Taiwan y Bulgaria han pedido lotes de aeronaves Block 70\/72 para reforzar sus fuerzas a\u00e9reas. Por otra parte, y ante el incremento en la demanda \u2013116 aeronaves solicitadas\u2013, Lockheed Martin extender\u00e1 la l\u00ednea de producci\u00f3n de este nuevo F-16 hasta el a\u00f1o 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vortexx-lockheed-martin-presento-primer-f-16block70-eslovaco_-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9289\" style=\"width:508px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vortexx-lockheed-martin-presento-primer-f-16block70-eslovaco_-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vortexx-lockheed-martin-presento-primer-f-16block70-eslovaco_-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vortexx-lockheed-martin-presento-primer-f-16block70-eslovaco_-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vortexx-lockheed-martin-presento-primer-f-16block70-eslovaco_.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Se espera que los F-16 de la USAF sean modernizados tras una inversi\u00f3n millonaria de USD 6300 millones para dotarlas de la mayor capacidad disuasoria posible. El Escuadr\u00f3n 480 \u201cWarhawks\u201d de la USAF fue el primero en recibir estas aeronaves actualizadas y, en el mediano plazo, se espera que otros m\u00e1s se sumen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente y
