Estamos ante una verdadera revoluci\u00f3n de la aeron\u00e1utica: la creaci\u00f3n de un nuevo motor que supere el&nbsp;<em>mach&nbsp;<\/em>10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GE Aerospace anunci\u00f3 el dise\u00f1o de motores a reacci\u00f3n de alta velocidad.&nbsp;Present\u00f3 la primera prueba del mundo de plataforma hipers\u00f3nica de&nbsp;<em>ramjet<\/em>, de modo dual,&nbsp;(DMRJ) \u2014motor a reacci\u00f3n m\u00e1s eficiente en velocidades supers\u00f3nicas que pueden impulsar un avi\u00f3n o un arma desde alrededor de&nbsp;<em>mach<\/em>&nbsp;3,&nbsp;<em>mach<\/em>&nbsp;5 y mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1\u2014,con combusti\u00f3n de detonaci\u00f3n rotativa (RDE) en un flujo supers\u00f3nico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El RDE funciona igual que uno de combusti\u00f3n interna normal: con una explosi\u00f3n que hace que se muevan algunos pistones. La diferencia est\u00e1 en que, en este caso, el esquema interno es diferente: tiene una serie de cilindros superpuestos con rendijas por las que pasa el aire para generar la combusti\u00f3n. Este motor ser\u00eda capaz de impulsar a los aviones a una velocidad tres veces superior a la del sonido, lo que activar\u00eda el&nbsp;<em>ramjet<\/em>&nbsp;que necesita la presi\u00f3n de esas velocidades para funcionar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El desarrollo de los&nbsp;<em>ramjets<\/em>&nbsp;podr\u00eda representar un gran avance al acoplarlo con un motor turbof\u00e1n equipado con un&nbsp;<em>sistema de propulsi\u00f3n de ciclo combinado basado en turbinas&nbsp;<\/em><em>(TBCC)<\/em><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde junio de 2023,&nbsp;GE trabaja junto con la Agencia de Proyectos de Investigaci\u00f3n Avanzada de Defensa (DARPA) y el Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea (AFRL), en el motor TBCC, equipado con RDE,&nbsp;que produce una onda de presi\u00f3n continua que gira alrededor de una c\u00e1mara de combusti\u00f3n anular antes de agotarse como gas calentado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amy Gowder,&nbsp;CEO de GE Aerospace Military Engines,&nbsp;anunci\u00f3:&nbsp;&#8220;Los ingenieros de GE ahora est\u00e1n probando el modo de transici\u00f3n a altas velocidades supers\u00f3nicas a medida que las transiciones de empuje de la turbina equipada con RDE y el&nbsp;<em>ramjet<\/em>\/<em>scramjet<\/em>&nbsp;de modo dual&#8221;. Y agreg\u00f3 que: \u201cel&nbsp;RDE ofrece una soluci\u00f3n muy eficiente porque te permite reducir la longitud. El tama\u00f1o, en ciertas aplicaciones, podr\u00eda importar mucho, especialmente para algunas aplicaciones no tripuladas&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este motor no solo servir\u00e1 para aviones, se
