La llegada de otros seis F-16 al pa\u00eds cerr\u00f3 una traves\u00eda que comenz\u00f3 a miles de kil\u00f3metros de la provincia de C\u00f3rdoba. Detr\u00e1s del arribo hubo una operaci\u00f3n a\u00e9rea de alta complejidad, con escalas, apoyo log\u00edstico, reabastecimiento en vuelo y participaci\u00f3n de pilotos nacionales durante parte del recorrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los cazas completaron el segundo ferry<\/em> desde Dinamarca, con paradas en Espa\u00f1a y Brasil antes del \u00faltimo tramo hacia el \u00c1rea de Material R\u00edo IV, en C\u00f3rdoba. Las seis unidades tocaron pista el 29 de septiembre, tras un despliegue que conect\u00f3 el norte de Europa con Sudam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El lote estuvo compuesto por cuatro F-16AM monoplaza y dos F-16BM biplaza. Con esta entrega, la flota pas\u00f3 a contar con 12 ejemplares de ese sistema de armas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una de las diferencias frente al traslado anterior estuvo dentro de las cabinas. Algunas aeronaves cruzaron el Atl\u00e1ntico con aviadores de nuestro pa\u00eds que ya hab\u00edan completado su capacitaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La distancia exigi\u00f3 una estructura de respaldo a lo largo de la ruta. Un C-130 Hercules y un Boeing 737 acompa\u00f1aron la misi\u00f3n junto con tres KC-135R Stratotanker, encargados de aportar combustible durante el cruce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El tramo sobre el oc\u00e9ano present\u00f3 uno de los mayores desaf\u00edos. Cada F-16 recibi\u00f3 diez cargas en el aire, una asistencia que permiti\u00f3 sostener un recorrido superior a 7000 millas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El procedimiento requiere precisi\u00f3n entre el caza y el avi\u00f3n cisterna. Durante la transferencia, ambas m\u00e1quinas deben conservar la posici\u00f3n necesaria hasta completar la maniobra y continuar el trayecto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La operaci\u00f3n demand\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, escalas y coordinaciones entre distintos pa\u00edses para llevar la formaci\u00f3n hasta destino. Ese esquema permiti\u00f3 sostener una misi\u00f3n extensa, en la que cada etapa dependi\u00f3 del trabajo conjunto entre las tripulaciones, el personal t\u00e9cnico y los medios de soporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El arribo marc\u00f3 otro paso dentro del Programa Peace Condor. La incorporaci\u00f3n de estas seis unidades se suma a la primera tanda recibida en diciembre de 2025 y forma parte del proceso de adaptaci\u00f3n del sistema F-16 en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de sumar aeronaves, el segundo ferry<\/em> dej\u00f3 a la vista todo lo que existe detr\u00e1s de un traslado de estas caracter\u00edsticas: miles de millas, combustible en vuelo, asistencia log\u00edstica y coordinaci\u00f3n entre numerosos equipos. Esta vez se agreg\u00f3 un elemento particular: pilotos nacionales ocuparon las cabinas de algunas unidades durante parte del cruce del Atl\u00e1ntico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
