El nuevo proyecto apunta a convertirse en el est\u00e1ndar global de sostenibilidad para la aviaci\u00f3n al integrar, en un solo marco, acciones ambientales, sociales y de gobernanza corporativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ISP es la evoluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia del programa IEnvA (IATA Environmental Assessment):&nbsp;&nbsp;abarca tanto la gesti\u00f3n ambiental y el uso de combustibles de nueva generaci\u00f3n como tambi\u00e9n la compra responsable, la formaci\u00f3n del personal, la relaci\u00f3n con las comunidades y los derechos laborales. Seg\u00fan la asociaci\u00f3n, el objetivo es que las compa\u00f1\u00edas a\u00e9reas puedan \u201corganizar sus estrategias de sustentabilidad con est\u00e1ndares globales y demostrar resultados verificables ante sus grupos de inter\u00e9s\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La iniciativa se estructura en cuatro m\u00f3dulos principales: gesti\u00f3n ambiental, adquisiciones sostenibles, responsabilidad social y desempe\u00f1o m\u00e1s corporativo. Cada m\u00f3dulo se basa en normas internacionales reconocidas, como las ISO 14001, 20400 y 26000, lo que garantiza la compatibilidad con los marcos de referencia internacionales. Adem\u00e1s, el sistema incluye auditor\u00edas externas cada dos a\u00f1os y el acompa\u00f1amiento t\u00e9cnico para las compa\u00f1\u00edas, con el fin de transformar los compromisos ambientales en pr\u00e1cticas medibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air New Zealand y EVA Air fueron las primeras empresas a\u00e9reas en certificarse bajo el m\u00f3dulo de adquisiciones responsables, lo que demuestra que el esquema ya tiene aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica. Seg\u00fan IATA, esta metodolog\u00eda ayudar\u00e1 a las empresas a reducir los riesgos, mejorar la eficiencia, y fortalecer su reputaci\u00f3n ante los reguladores, los inversores y los pasajeros.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El esquema tambi\u00e9n contempla una expansi\u00f3n gradual hacia otros actores de la industria del vuelo, como los aeropuertos, los operadores de carga, el servicio en tierra y los talleres de mantenimiento. De esta forma, la sostenibilidad dejar\u00e1 de ser un esfuerzo aislado de las aerol\u00edneas para convertirse en una estrategia transversal que abarque toda la cadena de valor del transporte a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con esta iniciativa, la IATA refuerza su compromiso con la meta de alcanzar emisiones netas cero para 2050. En palabras del organismo, el ISP busca \u201cfacilitar que los operadores a\u00e9reos pasen de los compromisos a la acci\u00f3n\u201d, al medir y mejorar continuamente el impacto de sus operaciones. En un contexto donde la presi\u00f3n medioambiental y social sobre la aviaci\u00f3n crece, este programa se presenta como una herramienta concreta para lograr una transici\u00f3n real hacia un modelo
