Este hito demuestra que una aviaci\u00f3n sostenible es posible. El objetivo del proyecto es mostrar que se puede alcanzar la estrat\u00f3sfera sin utilizar queroseno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El 12 de agosto, el piloto suizo Rapha\u00ebl Domjan parti\u00f3 desde el aeropuerto de Sion con el avi\u00f3n HB-SXA y lleg\u00f3 a una altitud de 9 521 metros sobre los Alpes del Valais. El HB-SXA, que pesa 450 kg, es un biplaza realizado, \u00edntegramente, en fibra de carbono. Sus alas est\u00e1n construidas con paneles solares y no posee cabina presurizada, por lo que el piloto llev\u00f3 a bordo su tanque de ox\u00edgeno. Aunque sus prestaciones son modestas y no supera los 140 km\/h, su eficiencia aerodin\u00e1mica lo coloca al mismo nivel que las aeronaves convencionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Federaci\u00f3n Aeron\u00e1utica Internacional deber\u00e1 validar el r\u00e9cord mediante la verificaci\u00f3n de los datos de altitud, que se certifican en funci\u00f3n de la presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica y la densidad del aire. Actualmente, la organizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 analizando los registros del vuelo conforme a sus estrictos est\u00e1ndares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Este logro no marca el final del camino, sino que representa un nuevo avance hacia una meta a\u00fan m\u00e1s ambiciosa: superar los 10 000 m, la altitud habitual de crucero de los aviones comerciales y, m\u00e1s adelante, alcanzar la estrat\u00f3sfera, que, en Suiza, comienza aproximadamente a los 12 000 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En julio, la aeronave hab\u00eda realizado otros dos vuelos: en el primero, alcanz\u00f3 una altitud de 6 589 m y, en el segundo, de 8 224 m, aunque tuvo que suspender el ascenso por la falta de corrientes t\u00e9rmicas, seg\u00fan
