El veh\u00edculo fue creado para apoyar las ambiciones de la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) y el Centro Nacional de Estudios Espaciales (CNES), cuyo objetivo final es dotar a Europa de un <em>rover<\/em> con capacidad lunar, con miras a la misi\u00f3n prevista para 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Venturi-Space_3-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Venturi-Space_3-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Venturi-Space_3-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Venturi-Space_3-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Venturi-Space_3-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La empresa monegasca Venturi Space supervisar\u00e1 el desarrollo y la calificaci\u00f3n espacial de Mona Luna desde su base en Toulouse, y coordinar\u00e1 todos los aspectos del proceso: electr\u00f3nica de a bordo, avi\u00f3nica, enlaces espacio-tierra, sistemas de gesti\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, ensamblaje, integraci\u00f3n final y pruebas de preparaci\u00f3n para el vuelo espacial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mona Luna est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para ser transportado al espacio por el sistema de lanzamiento Ariane 6.4 y aterrizar en la superficie lunar mediante el m\u00f3dulo europeo Argonaut. El <em>rover<\/em> estar\u00e1 equipado con un brazo rob\u00f3tico para manipular los instrumentos cient\u00edficos y las cargas \u00fatiles. Entre algunas de sus caracter\u00edsticas, se pueden mencionar: funcionamiento el\u00e9ctrico, recargable mediante paneles solares; desplazamiento aut\u00f3nomo, con capacidad de transportar una amplia gama de cargas \u00fatiles; una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 20 km\/h; un peso total de 750 kg y un dise\u00f1o apto para sobrevivir a m\u00faltiples noches lunares. En caso de emergencia, el veh\u00edculo tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda utilizarse para transportar a un astronauta en dificultades, tal como lo prev\u00e9n la ESA y el CNES en sus estudios de viabilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La misi\u00f3n inaugural se centrar\u00e1 en aplicaciones puramente cient\u00edficas, pero se podr\u00edan organizar futuros despliegues para satisfacer la demanda del sector privado con diversos fines, como el transporte de cargas \u00fatiles al Polo Sur, la explotaci\u00f3n <em>in situ<\/em> de recursos lunares (como el helio-3) o, incluso, campa\u00f1as de divulgaci\u00f3n.
