La operaci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 el 12 de abril en el ic\u00f3nico Edificio de Ensamblaje de Veh\u00edculos del Centro Espacial Kennedy, en Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"16115\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/KSC-20250403-PH-ILW01_0186large-1.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Para completar esta maniobra, t\u00e9cnicos del Programa de Sistemas Terrestres de Exploraci\u00f3n de la agencia utilizaron una gr\u00faa de 325 toneladas para elevar cuidadosamente el adaptador hasta una altura de casi 76 metros y colocarlo con precisi\u00f3n sobre la etapa central. Este adaptador, de forma c\u00f3nica, cumple una funci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica: conecta la etapa central del SLS con la etapa de propulsi\u00f3n criog\u00e9nica provisional, que ser\u00e1 la encargada de impulsar el vuelo de prueba alrededor de la Luna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el despegue y el ascenso, el adaptador no solo garantiza el soporte estructural del sistema, sino que tambi\u00e9n protege los componentes electr\u00f3nicos y de avi\u00f3nica de la etapa superior de las fuertes vibraciones y del entorno ac\u00fastico extremo que se produce durante el lanzamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con esta integraci\u00f3n completada, el siguiente paso ser\u00e1 apilar la etapa de propulsi\u00f3n criog\u00e9nica provisional sobre el adaptador recientemente instalado, dando continuidad al complejo armado del SLS, el cohete m\u00e1s potente que haya construido la NASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El adaptador fue desarrollado por la empresa Teledyne Brown Engineering, contratista principal bajo el contrato ESSCA (Servicios de Ingenier\u00eda y Aumento de la Capacidad Cient\u00edfica) de la Divisi\u00f3n de Exploraci\u00f3n Espacial Amentum. Su fabricaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar en el Centro Marshall para vuelos espaciales de la NASA, ubicado en Huntsville, Alabama, donde se utilizaron tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas de soldadura, como herramientas rob\u00f3ticas de fricci\u00f3n-agitaci\u00f3n autorreactivas y sistemas de soldadura vertical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pieza fue trasladada al Kennedy Space Center en septiembre de 2024, a bordo de la barcaza Pegasus de la NASA, una embarcaci\u00f3n especializada en el transporte de grandes componentes espaciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La misi\u00f3n Artemis II ser\u00e1 el primer vuelo tripulado de la campa\u00f1a Artemis, que tiene como objetivo llevar nuevamente a astronautas a la superficie lunar y, m\u00e1s adelante, preparar el terreno para futuras misiones humanas a Marte. El viaje durar\u00e1 10 d\u00edas y llevar\u00e1 a una tripulaci\u00f3n de cuatro personas en una traves\u00eda que orbitar\u00e1 nuestro sat\u00e9lite natural. Esta etapa de validaci\u00f3n es esencial para probar en condiciones reales todos los sistemas involucrados en la exploraci\u00f3n humana del espacio profundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con cada nuevo avance t\u00e9cnico, el programa Artemis da pasos firmes hacia una nueva era de exploraci\u00f3n espacial, en la que la presencia humana m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la Tierra deja de ser un proyecto lejano para
