Se trata de una aeronave que podr\u00eda marcar una nueva era de viajes supers\u00f3nicos comerciales, un hecho que reducir\u00e1 dr\u00e1sticamente las horas de vuelo entre Europa y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Seg\u00fan la agencia espacial estadounidense, el avi\u00f3n complet\u00f3 los ensayos y estar\u00e1 listo para despegar en 2025 por primera vez, sin una fecha exacta hasta ahora, tras completar una serie de pruebas en tierra.El ruido fue uno de los mayores problemas de la aviaci\u00f3n supers\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"856\" height=\"748\" data-id=\"16023\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184098.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184098.webp 856w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184098-300x262.webp 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184098-768x671.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 856px) 100vw, 856px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La misi\u00f3n Quesst de la NASA pretende solucionar esto, ya que cualquier aeronave que buscaba superar la velocidad del sonido, generaba una explosi\u00f3n ac\u00fastica capaz de causar molestia en las ciudades, la poblaci\u00f3n y, asimismo, de romper vidrios y ventanas. A ra\u00edz de esos inconvenientes, la Administraci\u00f3n Federal de Aviaci\u00f3n prohibi\u00f3 este tipo de vuelos comerciales en territorio estadounidense hace m\u00e1s de cinco d\u00e9cadas. Por ello, para superar este problema, la NASA dise\u00f1\u00f3 el X-59 con un fuselaje especial que reduce al m\u00ednimo las ondas de choque, un proceso que convierte el boom s\u00f3nico en un \u201cgolpe sordo\u201d, muy parecido al sonido que emite una puerta cuando se cierra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo a la propia NASA, el avi\u00f3n se someter\u00e1 a pruebas en distintas ciudades de Estados Unidos para evaluar c\u00f3mo perciben los ciudadanos el ruido generado por la aeronave. En caso de que los ensayos del X-59 sean exitosos, la agencia espacial estadounidense podr\u00eda abrir nuevas oportunidades para las aerol\u00edneas que son capaces de desarrollar aviones que vuelen a velocidades de m\u00e1s de 1700 km\/h, lo que acortar\u00e1 el tiempo de los vuelos actuales a la mitad.  X-59 posee un fuselaje largo y delgado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" data-id=\"16024\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184097-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184097-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184097-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184097-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000184097.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Su estructura alargada y su extremo de 11,5 metros est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para modificar la forma en que el aire se desplaza a su alrededor. Adem\u00e1s, durante su fabricaci\u00f3n se coloc\u00f3 el motor en la parte superior de la aeronave para disminuir la turbulencia en la parte inferior. En lugar de la tradicional ventana frontal, el X-59 incorpora un avanzado sistema de visi\u00f3n digital, que garantiza una operaci\u00f3n segura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta soluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica permiti\u00f3 a la agencia espacial optimizar el dise\u00f1o aerodin\u00e1mico del avi\u00f3n, sin comprometer la visibilidad del piloto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque el X-59 representa un gran paso adelante, la NASA reconoce que la aviaci\u00f3n supers\u00f3nica comercial es un proyecto a largo plazo. Larry Cliatt II, gerente del subproyecto de tecnolog\u00eda supers\u00f3nica comercial, estima que podr\u00edan pasar d\u00e9cadas antes de que esta tecnolog\u00eda se traduzca en vuelos comerciales
