Lleva, adem\u00e1s, un motor qu\u00edmico de bajo costo, de 90 kilogramos de fuerza de empuje. Esta innovaci\u00f3n implica menores costos operativos para las empresas, al lograr un fuerte ahorro de combustible. El sistema de propulsi\u00f3n del Chimera GEO-1 fue fabricado por el equipo de CENTEC Rafaela, en Santa Fe, utilizando componentes altamente especializados. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n permiti\u00f3 optimizar dise\u00f1os y garantizar la precisi\u00f3n necesaria para aplicaciones espaciales extremas, lo que subraya la relevancia de la cooperaci\u00f3n entre Epic Aerospace y CENTEC Rafaela en tecnolog\u00eda de propulsi\u00f3n y manufactura avanzada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1022\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1-1024x1022.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15931\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1-1024x1022.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1-768x767.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Logo_ChimeraGeo-1.jpg 1079w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Epic Aerospace es una <em>start up<\/em> fundada por el argentino Ignacio Belieres Montero, con 40 empleados y sedes en Ezeiza, Montevideo y Estados Unidos. El objetivo final, seg\u00fan su creador, es construir una constelaci\u00f3n de naves remolcadoras y crear la primera red de transporte en el espacio. \u201cBuscamos, a futuro, que estas naves recarguen combustible en estaciones de servicio dispuestas en el espacio. Ser\u00eda ideal tener 50 de estas Chimeras en \u00f3rbita\u201d, se entusiasma Belieres Montero. Me enamor\u00e9 de la industria aeroespacial con el correr de los a\u00f1os y me detuve a pensar en los problemas a futuro en este sector.
