Se prev\u00e9 que esta misi\u00f3n, que transportar\u00e1 ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda de la agencia espacial estadounidense, toque suelo en la superficie lunar el 2 de marzo a las 3:45 a.m. EST. El destino ser\u00e1 Mare Crisium, una extensa llanura situada en el cuadrante noreste del lado visible del sat\u00e9lite natural de la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"661\" data-id=\"15868\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0_1739782933-1024x661.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15868\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0_1739782933-1024x661.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0_1739782933-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0_1739782933-768x496.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0_1739782933.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Para acercar este hito al p\u00fablico, la transmisi\u00f3n en vivo del descenso se llevar\u00e1 a cabo a trav\u00e9s de NASA+, a partir de las 2:30 a.m. EST, aproximadamente una hora y quince minutos antes del aterrizaje. Adem\u00e1s, el canal de YouTube de Firefly tambi\u00e9n emitir\u00e1 la cobertura en directo. A medida que se desarrollen los eventos clave del descenso, el blog de la NASA proporcionar\u00e1 actualizaciones en tiempo real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n acreditados tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de asistir en persona a un evento especial organizado por Firefly en Austin, Texas. Aquellos interesados deber\u00e1n solicitar su acreditaci\u00f3n antes del 24 de febrero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez logrado el alunizaje, la NASA y Firefly ofrecer\u00e1n una conferencia de prensa en la que se abordar\u00e1n los detalles de la misi\u00f3n, los primeros resultados obtenidos y las futuras oportunidades cient\u00edficas que se abrir\u00e1n con esta exploraci\u00f3n. La fecha y hora de la rueda de prensa se confirmar\u00e1n tras la llegada del m\u00f3dulo a la superficie lunar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El viaje comenz\u00f3 el 15 de enero a la 1:11 a.m. EST, cuando despeg\u00f3 a bordo de un cohete Falcon 9 de SpaceX, desde el Complejo de Lanzamiento 39A en el Centro Espacial Kennedy de Florida. La carga de esta misi\u00f3n incluye 10 investigaciones cient\u00edficas y demostraciones tecnol\u00f3gicas de la NASA, con el prop\u00f3sito de estudiar el entorno lunar y desarrollar herramientas que faciliten futuros aterrizajes seguros en la Luna y en Marte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"487\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/650_1200-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15870\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/650_1200-2.jpeg 650w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/650_1200-2-300x225.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Este proyecto se enmarca en los esfuerzos de la NASA por consolidar colaboraciones con empresas estadounidenses para la exploraci\u00f3n espacial. A trav\u00e9s del programa CLPS, varias compa\u00f1\u00edas pueden presentar propuestas para la entrega de cargas \u00fatiles a la Luna, que abarca desde la integraci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n de los instrumentos hasta su lanzamiento y descenso en la superficie de la Luna. Este tipo de contratos, con un valor m\u00e1ximo acumulado de 2600 millones de d\u00f3lares hasta 2028, permiten a la NASA desarrollar nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en colaboraci\u00f3n con el sector privado.
