{"id":15846,"date":"2025-02-17T16:26:02","date_gmt":"2025-02-17T16:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.0.98\/?p=15846"},"modified":"2025-02-17T16:26:02","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T16:26:02","slug":"el-primer-satelite-universitario-del-pais-se-prepara-para-su-lanzamiento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/?p=15846","title":{"rendered":"El primer sat\u00e9lite universitario del pa\u00eds se prepara para su lanzamiento"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Un equipo conformado por ingenieros y alumnos becarios de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la <a href=\"https:\/\/unlp.edu.ar\/\">Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP)<\/a> trabaja en la etapa final de ensayos funcionales del USAT 1, el primer CubeSat universitario argentino, que ser\u00e1 llevado a Espa\u00f1a en marzo pr\u00f3ximo para ser integrado al dispositivo que lo escoltar\u00e1 hacia el espacio. Su lanzamiento est\u00e1 previsto para junio de este a\u00f1o, en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15847\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_1-2048x1367.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El USAT 1, el primero de una serie de cinco CubeSat proyectados por la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda, mide 10 cm por 10 cm por 34 cm y pesa alrededor de 4 kilos. Su misi\u00f3n ser\u00e1 la demostraci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda de GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), una constelaci\u00f3n de sat\u00e9lites\u00a0que transmite rangos de se\u00f1ales utilizados para el posicionamiento y la localizaci\u00f3n en cualquier parte del globo terrestre, a fin de realizar observaciones atmosf\u00e9ricas de presi\u00f3n, temperatura y humedad, as\u00ed como de altimetr\u00eda, rugosidad y vegetaci\u00f3n del suelo, entre otros par\u00e1metros. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La iniciativa es llevada adelante por investigadores del Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico Aeroespacial (CTA) del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Aeroespacial, y del grupo de Sistemas Electr\u00f3nicos de Navegaci\u00f3n y Telecomunicaciones (SENyT) del Departamento de Electrotecnia. Adem\u00e1s, cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Energ\u00eda At\u00f3mica (CNEA) y de la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Actividades Espaciales (CONAE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-1024x678.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-1024x678.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-768x509.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-1536x1017.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_2-2048x1356.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El decano de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y director del CTA, Marcos Actis, resalt\u00f3 que, en el exterior, un sat\u00e9lite de caracter\u00edsticas similares tiene un costo aproximado de 200 mil d\u00f3lares, mientras que el desarrollo local demand\u00f3 una inversi\u00f3n menor a 70 mil. \u201cProyectos como este y otros son financiados con recursos propios que genera el Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico Aeroespacial, a trav\u00e9s de trabajos de transferencia\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3. Adem\u00e1s, destac\u00f3 el apoyo por parte del presidente de la UNLP, Mart\u00edn L\u00f3pez Armengol, y del vicepresidente acad\u00e9mico, Fernando Tauber. El servicio de lanzamiento del USAT 1 tiene un costo de 100 mil d\u00f3lares, para lo cual la Universidad destin\u00f3 un 75 % de los fondos, mientras que el 25 % restante se pag\u00f3 con un subsidio otorgado por el anterior Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n de la Naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-1024x678.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15848\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-1024x678.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-768x509.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-1536x1017.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_3-2048x1356.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La ingeniera Sonia Botta, integrante del CTA y coordinadora del proyecto, cont\u00f3 que est\u00e1n integrando todos los componentes del sat\u00e9lite con el <em>hardware<\/em> de vuelo y haciendo pruebas de los sistemas en su conjunto. Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3: \u201cHasta ahora los ensayos eran funcionales, pero se hac\u00edan por separado en lo que se denomina FlatSat, que es un banco de ensayos donde se interconectan las placas, en una configuraci\u00f3n c\u00f3moda para ensayar\u201d, y agreg\u00f3 que ahora est\u00e1n integr\u00e1ndolo en la forma en la que realmente va a volar. \u201cUna vez concluida esa etapa, haremos los ensayos ambientales, fundamentalmente el de vibraciones\u201d, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n al ensayo de vibraciones, prueba fundamental para el sat\u00e9lite debido a su complejidad, Botta resalt\u00f3 su importancia: \u201cSi el sat\u00e9lite se va a romper en alg\u00fan momento, es ah\u00ed. El ensayo de vibraciones es la peor condici\u00f3n que va a experimentar el sat\u00e9lite en su vida porque est\u00e1 preparado para soportar el lanzamiento y un poquito m\u00e1s. Despu\u00e9s lo volvemos a probar para ver si sigue funcionando correctamente. Una vez que est\u00e1 aprobado, le ponemos el mo\u00f1ito y se va para Espa\u00f1a\u201d, grafic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-1024x678.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-1024x678.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-768x509.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-1536x1017.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/USAT_4-2048x1356.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su tama\u00f1o y las bater\u00edas de litio que contiene, el USAT 1 ser\u00e1 trasladado como equipaje de mano, cumpliendo con las regulaciones aeron\u00e1uticas. En Espa\u00f1a, la empresa UARX integrar\u00e1 al sat\u00e9lite un dispensador, que es el dispositivo mediante el cual volar\u00e1 el USAT 1. Desde all\u00ed ser\u00e1 llevado a Estados Unidos para su lanzamiento, a cargo de SpaceX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEs un proyecto de ingenier\u00eda muy importante y, como tal, siempre hay inconvenientes, pero despu\u00e9s de tanto tiempo de trabajo empezamos a ver el sat\u00e9lite final\u201d, expres\u00f3 Botta, quien adem\u00e1s manifest\u00f3 las grandes expectativas de los integrantes del equipo de ver en \u00f3rbita al sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El USAT 1 es el primer CubeSat universitario del pa\u00eds, pero, en la categor\u00eda de sat\u00e9lite universitario ser\u00eda el tercero, ya que previamente se construyeron el \u00b5SAT-1 V\u00edctor (1996) y el Pehuensat-1 (2007).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente: Prensa Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda
