El X-59, un avi\u00f3n experimental desarrollado en colaboraci\u00f3n con Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para producir golpes s\u00f3nicos mucho m\u00e1s silenciosos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"12005\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/4482578.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12005\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En el marco de este esfuerzo, se encuentra la sofisticada tecnolog\u00eda de sondas de detecci\u00f3n de impactos, herramientas cr\u00edticas para medir, con precisi\u00f3n, las ondas de choque generadas por el X-59 durante el vuelo. Dise\u00f1adas por investigadores del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n de Vuelo Armstrong de la NASA, en California, estas sondas permiten recopilar datos fundamentales para validar los modelos computacionales que predicen la fuerza de las ondas de choque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto cuenta con dos versiones de sondas. La primera, optimizada para mediciones de campo cercano, analiza las ondas de choque que se producen muy cerca del X-59. Por otro lado, la sonda de campo medio est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para misiones que recopilan datos desde altitudes que oscilan entre los 1524 y 6096 metros por debajo del avi\u00f3n. Ambas sondas comparten un objetivo com\u00fan: captar incluso los m\u00e1s m\u00ednimos cambios en la presi\u00f3n del aire, una tarea especialmente desafiante debido a la debilidad relativa de las ondas de choque del X-59 en comparaci\u00f3n con otros aviones supers\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El X-59, que vuela a una altitud de crucero cercana a los 18 000 metros, emplear\u00e1 la configuraci\u00f3n de \u201cseguir al l\u00edder\u201d durante sus vuelos de prueba. En ellos, un avi\u00f3n F-15B, equipado con una sonda de detecci\u00f3n de impactos, volar\u00e1 junto al X-59 recolectando miles de muestras de presi\u00f3n por segundo mientras atraviesa las ondas de choque. Esta capacidad para registrar datos en tiempo real proporciona una valiosa base emp\u00edrica para comparar las predicciones computacionales con las mediciones reales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/7ACOKIDKRZB3RJFRSXQFFE4NBQ.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12004\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El dise\u00f1o de las sondas ha sido un verdadero desaf\u00edo de ingenier\u00eda. Las versiones m\u00e1s recientes incluyen mejoras significativas, como la reducci\u00f3n de la distancia entre los transductores de presi\u00f3n y los puertos de la sonda, que pasaron de 3 metros a solo 0,127. Este ajuste minimiza los retrasos en la grabaci\u00f3n de datos y mejora la precisi\u00f3n de las mediciones. Adem\u00e1s, se incorpor\u00f3 un sistema de calefacci\u00f3n para mantener los transductores a una temperatura constante durante el vuelo, lo que elimina las fluctuaciones de precisi\u00f3n causadas por cambios de temperatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La estructura c\u00f3nica de las sondas cuenta con cinco puertos de presi\u00f3n: uno en la punta y cuatro alrededor del cono. Estos puertos trabajan en conjunto para medir la presi\u00f3n est\u00e1tica, la velocidad y la direcci\u00f3n del flujo de aire, y proporcionan una visi\u00f3n completa de las caracter\u00edsticas de las ondas de choque. \u201cLas sondas act\u00faan como fuentes de la verdad, ya que comparan los datos previstos con las mediciones del mundo real\u201d, explic\u00f3 Mike Frederick, investigador principal de la NASA para este proyecto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AFRC2022-0028-14large-3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12006\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Las pruebas iniciales de la sonda de detecci\u00f3n de impactos de campo cercano incluir\u00e1n vuelos supers\u00f3nicos en los que, montada en un F-15B, esta recopilar\u00e1 datos mientras persigue a otro F-15. Estos vuelos permitir\u00e1n evaluar y ajustar las mejoras implementadas para garantizar que la tecnolog\u00eda cumpla con los rigurosos requisitos de resoluci\u00f3n y precisi\u00f3n de la misi\u00f3n Quesst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El X-59 no solo representa un avance tecnol\u00f3gico, sino tambi\u00e9n una visi\u00f3n transformadora del futuro del transporte a\u00e9reo.
