{"id":11319,"date":"2024-09-23T08:57:52","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T11:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.0.98\/?p=11319"},"modified":"2024-09-23T08:57:52","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T11:57:52","slug":"magnix-y-la-nasa-presentaron-un-demostrador-hibrido-electrico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/?p=11319","title":{"rendered":"MagniX y la NASA presentaron un demostrador h\u00edbrido el\u00e9ctrico"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240823012550-20240823-magniXPR-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11321\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda tecnol\u00f3gica Magnix, que desarrolla sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n y bater\u00edas para la electrificaci\u00f3n del transporte,&nbsp;con sede en Everett, Washington, Estados Unidos,&nbsp;modific\u00f3 un De Havilland&nbsp;Canada Dash 7, bajo el programa de Demostraci\u00f3n de Vuelo con Tren de Potencia Electrificado (EPFD) de la NASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MagniX, la compa\u00f1\u00eda que impulsa la revoluci\u00f3n de la aviaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica, lanz\u00f3 la fase de prueba del EPFD junto con la presentaci\u00f3n del De Havilland DHC-7. El avi\u00f3n, que fue revelado en una ceremonia en Seattle, Washington, cont\u00f3 con los logotipos de MagniX, la NASA y el proveedor del Dash 7, Air Tindi. La presentaci\u00f3n es el \u00faltimo desarrollo en el programa de 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En febrero, MagniX logr\u00f3 con \u00e9xito la Revisi\u00f3n Preliminar del Dise\u00f1o (PDR) y estableci\u00f3 un cronograma para la modernizaci\u00f3n del Dash 7 con los trenes motrices el\u00e9ctricos de la desarrolladora. En abril, un motor el\u00e9ctrico magni650 complet\u00f3 la fase de instalaci\u00f3n en el Centro de Pruebas de Aeronaves El\u00e9ctricas (NEAT) de la NASA en Sandusky, Ohio, y arroj\u00f3 la capacidad del magni650 a altitudes de hasta 8382 metros. En junio, se concluyeron las pruebas de vuelo de referencia para el Dash 7, con excelentes resultados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La desarrolladora estima que, en la siguiente fase de la EPFD, uno de los cuatro motores de turbina del avi\u00f3n ser\u00e1 reemplazado por un tren motriz el\u00e9ctrico magniX, con vuelos de prueba previstos para 2026. Luego, se sustituir\u00e1 un segundo motor de turbina por otro tren motriz MagniX. Se espera que esta configuraci\u00f3n reduzca hasta un 40 % el consumo de combustible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Ben Loxton, vicepresidente de EPFD y Sistemas de Almacenamiento El\u00e9ctrico (ESS) de MagniX anunci\u00f3: &#8220;Junto con la NASA queremos demostrar que el vuelo sostenible se puede realizar con la tecnolog\u00eda que tenemos disponible&#8221;. Pearce, administrador asociado de la Direcci\u00f3n de Misiones de Investigaci\u00f3n Aeron\u00e1utica de la NASA, dijo: &#8220;Estamos entusiasmados con el potencial de EPFD para hacer que la aviaci\u00f3n sea sostenible y m\u00e1s accesible para m\u00e1s comunidades.
