UU.), la NASA cancel\u00f3 la misi\u00f3n espacial tripulada de Boeing Starliner. Hasta el momento las autoridades no anunciaron un nuevo lanzamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la agencia especial estadounidense, las razones de la cancelaci\u00f3n se debieron a fallas t\u00e9cnicas en una de las v\u00e1lvulas del cohete lanzador Atlas V, sobre el que se encuentra la nave Starliner de Boeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-05-09-at-08.19.54.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10128\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El titular de la NASA, Bill Nelson, asegur\u00f3 que \u201cla prioridad del organismo es la seguridad\u201d, y afirm\u00f3: \u201cIremos cuando estemos listos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte del Programa de Tripulaci\u00f3n Comercial de la agencia, la misi\u00f3n es el primer vuelo tripulado de la nave espacial Starliner, que ten\u00eda previsto despegar la noche de lunes 6 de mayo a las 22:34 (hora local) junto a los astronautas de la NASA Barry \u2018Butch\u2019 Wilmore\u00a0y\u00a0Sunita Williams, en un cohete Atlas V de United Launch Alliance. Sin embargo, por un problema de seguridad, la misi\u00f3n fue abortada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/CFTCREWA-1536x1024-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10131\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Despu\u00e9s del lanzamiento, a\u00fan no fijado, desde el Space Launch Complex-41 y la separaci\u00f3n del cohete Atlas V de ULA, Starliner realizar\u00e1 un encendido del motor para colocar la nave espacial y su tripulaci\u00f3n en \u00f3rbita para un viaje de aproximadamente 24 horas hasta la estaci\u00f3n espacial, donde permanecer\u00e1n durante aproximadamente una semana. Luego descender\u00e1n con paraca\u00eddas y un aterrizaje asistido por bolsas de aire en el oeste de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los posibles lugares de aterrizaje incluyen dos objetivos en el vasto campo de misiles White Sands, Nuevo M\u00e9xico; Willcox, Arizona; Campo de pruebas de Dugway, Utah. La Base de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Edwards en California est\u00e1 disponible como lugar de aterrizaje de contingencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La misi\u00f3n CFT (Crew Flight Test) de Boeing tiene por objetivo lograr las certificaciones necesarias de la NASA para poder comenzar a operar en calidad de segundo proveedor de transporte de tripulaci\u00f3n y carga al llamado laboratorio orbital, servicio que, desde 2020, ya presta de forma oficial la firma SpaceX de Elon Musk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta oportunidad, se probar\u00e1n las capacidades de extremo a extremo del sistema Starliner, incluido el lanzamiento, el acoplamiento y el regreso a la Tierra en el oeste de los Estados Unidos. En caso de que fuera exitosa, la NASA comenzar\u00e1 el proceso final de certificaci\u00f3n de Starliner y los sistemas para misiones tripuladas a la estaci\u00f3n espacial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aeroespacio.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/0000612494-1024x594.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10130\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Este es el segundo vuelo de Boeing a la Estaci\u00f3n Espacial Internacional y la tercera prueba de vuelo de Starliner en general, luego de una segunda prueba de vuelo orbital, la misi\u00f3n no tripulada tambi\u00e9n conocida como OFT-2, en mayo de 2022. Boeing tambi\u00e9n complet\u00f3 una demostraci\u00f3n de aborto en plataforma en noviembre de 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Programa de Tripulaci\u00f3n Comercial de la NASA est\u00e1 trabajando con la industria aeroespacial de EE. UU. para lanzar astronautas en cohetes y naves espaciales estadounidenses de este pa\u00eds hacia la Estaci\u00f3n Espacial Internacional.
